Unique and beautiful, this magnificent vintage piece is perfect to use as a fishbowl or planter.  As with the REMBRANDT BRIDGE LAMP - item 2335, and the REMBRANDT BRIDGE LAMP - item 2336, this piece has been professionally refinished by the same craftsman in a beautiful array of period colors.  Made in the 1920's, this graceful stand has an overall height of 40", and a base of 10-3/4" diameter.  It holds a thick original amber glass bowl which measures 12" in diameter, and is 8" high.  One side of the top ring of the stand is slightly flattened, and the bowl shows age rub marks on the outer bottom.  A mark of "1459. M.S.L." is engraved in the bottom of the base.  This remarkable hand-painted showpiece is a rare find indeed!
